Capabilities

Three production-grade print technologies plus finishing, assembly, and fulfillment under one roof in Ames, Iowa. SLS on a Formlabs Fuse 1+ 30W in Nylon 12, alongside 20+ FDM and 20+ resin printers under unified ops with in-process camera monitoring. Large and XL formats available, and parts bigger than the build volume get split, printed, and joined here.

05 · Assembly + fulfillment

One shop, full project.

Multi-part, fixtures, packaging, fulfillment

A multi-part job does not stop at the printer. We build the assembly, set the inserts and hardware, bond and fit the pieces, then pack the finished units and ship them. Housings, brackets, and test fixtures come off the same floor. If a build needs a board, that runs through our partner network. One purchase order covers the whole run.

The work around the print.

Prototype refinement · material consulting · short run production

Prototype refinement Print it, test it, change it, print it again. Send a revised model between cycles and we run the next version, so fit and function get checked on a real part instead of on screen. This is the right service while a design is still moving and you would rather have the next iteration in hand than a finished part you cannot change.

Material consulting Tell us what the part has to survive and we will tell you what to print it in. Impact, heat, chemicals, UV, flex, or simply how it has to look. We work across sintered nylon, filament and resin, so the recommendation is driven by your part rather than by whichever machine we would rather run.

Short run production Production parts without tooling. A pilot batch, a gap in supply, or a run that does not justify a mold. We handle material selection, print setup and the checks in between, and the job is set up so the same part can be run again later without starting from scratch.

Sizing · documentation · shipping · reorders

Larger than the buildSingle pieces up to 800 mm. Past that we split the model at a seam we pick, print the sections, and bond and finish them here, so you receive one part rather than a kit.

Minimum orderNone. One part is a real order. Per-part cost drops sharply with quantity, though, and we will tell you where that line sits before you commit.

Files we takeSTL, STEP, IGES, OBJ, and 3MF. No model? Send us the part and we will scan it.

ConfidentialityWe sign an NDA before your files change hands. Ask on the request form and it is handled.

DocumentationDimensional inspection reports and material certs with lot traceability, on request.

First articleWe make one and you sign off on it before the batch runs.
